Date night in Bayfield
We have a special connection to Bayfield for date night, not just because we live here. We got engaged and married in Bayfield. So want the inside scoop of our top date night? It's all here in this blog.
First, we enjoy getting to go on walks alone or with our kids in tow in the big double stroller we push all around town (if you have happened to see us?) Our Favorite walk is down the Brownstone Trail. We hop on and off the trail at many of its points, depending on our walk. The trail runs along the shoreline of Lake Superior and right in front of Seagull Bay. We did get engaged right here on this very bridge in the photo below along the trail.
We then hop back into the car and take the short drive to the big yellow house called The Good Thyme. You really cannot go wrong by making the trip.
At Good Thyme, they take an artisanal approach to the food they serve. Good Thyme makes all of their sauces, marinades, desserts, & signature house dressing from scratch. And they are even committed to using local ingredients from local purveyors whenever possible.
