Walk the Rail-Trail!

The Brownstone Trail runs in front of beautiful Seagull Bay Motel. It is nearly 3 miles long on abandoned Chicago and North Western Railway corridor-the Rail Trail! The trail follows the brownstone cliffs with views of Lake Superior and Madeline Island. When you leave Seagull Bay and head towards town you will walk through the marina and end at S 3rd St in Bayfield. From there it is a block away from historical downtown Bayfield.

If you want a longer walk you can take the trail to the right at Seagull Bay and see more Lake views. You will walk past Pikes Bay Marina before reaching its endpoint at the adjacent Port Superior Marina. Come check it out for yourself at our Lakeside Motel-Seagull Bay!
